Well two full months after the wedding, I am back at it again. No, not another wedding, trust me, never again! Another party though, actually two parties. One baby shower for my sweet Heather, and one christening reception for my youngest daughter. The baby shower has lots of surprises, so I’ll share that on a separate post later.
I wanted to write you all a really quick post about some nail polish. Yes, I know there are more important things in life but I’m excited about this shit ok. I was shopping at the Kroger and I saw OPI had a line of Gel polishes. I love OPI and that is really the only brand of nail polish I buy so I haven’t jumped on the “Gel Manicure at home” train yet. Well, chooo chooo hunny!
So as every pool owner knows, they don’t last forever, and they are basically a giant ass money pit. Well, the time came this summer to resurface our pool. If you have not yet lived through this take my word for it, one of the biggest hassles ever. Not to mention expensive. Ok, enough of my first world woes. Point being, our pool rehab sucked our entire outdoor budget right down the tubes.
Just a little follow up to yesterday’s post, where I was ranting and raving about enrolling my daughter in college, I mean pre-school. So what I didn’t tell you guys is that yesterday I got to stay in the classroom and observe. Today was our first drop off day.
Does this little baby look like she can be dropped off??? OK, fine this is an old picture, but she still looks like this to me.
So even as I type that I laugh. Why? Because there is nothing “BASIC” about pre-school. My plan was to keep our 3-year old home with me for one more year. Her birthday is late October, so next year pre-school and then on to Kindergarten.
I have received quite a few messages asking about pets. If I have them, if I’ll write about them, what my favorite pet products are. So here we go, my pet people. We currently have a 6-year-old boxer, Fred. Fred is my first boxer so he has taught me a lot. Here is my favorite dog stuff. Woof.
So school has started or is starting in the next day or two. Just a friendly PSA to brush up on your school bus rules. OK, first of all let’s remember when we were kids on the school bus. Yes, that’s right, I didn’t have one of those booshie ass childhoods. I rode the school bus. Yes, kids picked on me and I am semi -traumatized from the school bus, but that is not the point. The point is;
I’ve wanted to do this post forever and I just never get it done. So today is the day. These are some of my favorite old faithfuls and some of my new favs as well. I’m going to start with one of my favorite inventions EVER.
I don’t think these pictures need a lot of my yammering, just enjoy.
